The petitioner, a registered company, is engaged in providing Cable T.V. Transmission Network. Petitioner approached this Court aggrieved by cut of date fixed by the first respondent for registration of Multi System Operators for the purpose of operation of Cable TV Network Services with Digital Addressable System in areas under Phase III. The last date for filing application for registration is 21/12/2014 as seen from Ext.P3. It is mentioned in Ext.P3 that application received after 21/12/2014 shall not be accepted/entertained for Phase III areas till cut off date for implementation of Phase III is over. The petitioner submits that time is already extended for Digital Addressable Cable T.V. system till December 2015 and, therefore, there is no justification in fixing cut off date as 21/12/2014 for the purpose of registration. The petitioner highlighted their grievance in W.P.(c).No.33842 of 2014 : 2 : Ext.P4 representation before the first respondent. The petitioner request for early consideration of Ext.P4 2. In view of the limited request made by the petitioner, the first respondent shall consider Ext.P4 and take appropriate decision thereon within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
