ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to set aside proceedings in Ref.No.C/987/2014, dated 25.10.2014, of respondent No.2, whereby he has suspended the petitioner’s fair price shop authorization on the ground that the inspection by the Enforcement Deputy Tahsildar, Lakkireddypalli has revealed certain variations in the essential commodities.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, respondent No.2 is directed to hold the enquiry personally, without blindly relying upon the reports of his sub-ordinate officers, wherein he shall examine the Sales and Stock Registers, including the explanation of the petitioner, and all other relevant material that is placed before him. He shall give the petitioner an opportunity of being heard in full. He shall consider the case with a rational and objective approach and at the end of the enquiry, he shall pass a speaking order. He shall complete this exercise within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Subject to the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel, WPMP.No.44997 of 2014 is disposed of as infructuous.
