ORDER :
This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not granting permission to the petitioners for conversion of agricultural land admeasuring Ac.10-75 cents in Sy.Nos.48/1, 48/2, 48/3, 49/2 and 46/5 of Pedalanka village, Kalidindi Mandal, Krishna District into fish tanks as illegal and arbitrary.
At the hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Fisheries, on instructions, submitted that the petitioners’ applications have been referred to the Mandal Level Committee and that respondent No.2 will dispose of the same after considering the report of the said Committee, expeditiously.
In the light of the above submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2 to dispose of the petitioners’ applications for grant of permission for conversion of the above mentioned agricultural land into fish tanks within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order.
As a sequel to the disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.39455 of 2014 filed for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
