ORDER:
Petitioner claims that he has purchased an extent of Ac.2.74 cents in R.S.No.288/6 under registered sale deed dated 06.03.2013 bearing document No.1361 of 2013 and another extent of Ac.1.18 cents in R.S.No.288/4 under registered sale deed dated 06.03.2013 bearing document No.1355 of 2013. Petitioner states that, thereafter, he applied for pattadar passbooks and title deeds and the said application is followed by a representation dated 12.03.2014 and a legal notice dated 29.04.2014 and alleging inaction of the Tahsildar the present writ petition is filed.
2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader received instructions, which state that the aforesaid land is an assigned land and that the transactions of alienation are not permissible under law.
It is, however, stated that the application of the petitioner could not be disposed of as the Tahsildar/respondent No.4 was engaged in General Elections work but as the said elections are now over, respondent No.4 is initiating required action on the said application of the petitioner.
3. In the circumstances, I deem it appropriate to direct the Tahsildar/respondent No.4 to consider the aforesaid applications of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
