JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ashok Bhushan, Ag.CJ Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned State Attorney. No notice need be issued to private respondents in view of the order which is being passed. 2. The petitioner has come up in the writ petition praying for mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to grant adequate and effective police protection to the life of the petitioner from the threat of respondents 4 to 8.
3. A civil dispute between the parties is engaging attention of the civil court in O.S. No.186 of 2013. The petitioner's case is that the petitioner has already been granted injunction in civil suit and for violation of the said injunction, he has already taken steps. It is submitted that the respondents attacked the petitioner and threatened him on 25.8.2014. The petitioner had submitted a complaint dated 26.8.2014.
4. Learned State Attorney after getting instructions submits WP(C) No. 26744/14 2 that Crime No.693 of 2014 of Chittar Police Station has already been registered on 26.8.2014 and police is carrying on investigation in the matter. As police has already registered crime and proceeding with the investigation, we see no reason to entertain this writ petition. In the event there is any further offence or threat, the petitioner shall be at liberty to complain before the police authority and the police may look into the same.
With this observation, the writ petition is closed.
