JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner laments that sufficient opportunity was not offered by the State Land Board to substantiate his claim under Section 7E of the Kerala Land Reforms Act, 1963 (for short the 'Act'). The petitioner asserts that final arguments were completed on 18.06.2013 itself whereas the proceedings of State Land Board reflect that the case was adjourned to 27.06.2013 on which date there was no representation. I do feel that an opportunity can be extended to the petitioner to produce the sale deed under which he lays his claim under Section 7E of the Act.
2. The claim made by the petitioner shall be considered strictly in terms of the following decisions:-
i) Rajeev v. District Collector [2014 (4) KLT 209]
ii) State of Kerala v.Thomas Kurian [2014 (4) KLT 417].
3. The petitioner as well as the fourth respondent declarant shall be put on notice and heard before final orders are passed by the State Land Board. Every endeavour shall be made to C.R.P. (L.R.)No. 623 of 2013 2 take the proceedings to a logical end within a period of three months from today. The impugned order is set aside for this limited purpose.
The Civil Revision Petition is allowed. No costs.
