JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to promote the petitioner as Assistant Engineer and for other reliefs. When this matter is taken up for hearing today, neither the learned counsel for the petitioner nor the petitioner is present. No representation also. This is one of the old matters pending in this Court. There is no meaning in keeping this matter pending any more. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. ks.
