Knr.Jothikrishna vs Dr.M.Rajaram Narayanan

Madras High Court|05 October, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, to call for the records in S.T.C.No.66 of 2015 on the file of Fast Track Court, Ambattur and quash the proceedings therein.
M.S.RAMESH,J., nvi
2. When the matter was called today, the learned counsel for the respondent has submitted that the impugned proceedings has almost been concluded and the case stands posted "for pronouncing Judgment". During the pendency of the impugned proceedings, warrant has also been issued against the petitioner herein and he has been declared to be absconded for which steps for declaration has been initiated.
3. Though, the petitioner has raised several grounds in the petition, seeking to quash the proceedings pending before the Fast Track Court at Ambattur, I am of the view that, it would not be appropriate for this Court to appreciate these grounds at this stage when the case is listed "for pronouncing Judgment".
4. In view of the above discussions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
