JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, ACJ.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2.
2. The writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to remove the encroachment made by the 3rd respondent in public pathway to petitioner's property by disposing the representation dated 10.3.2017.
3. According to the petitioner, he is a resident of Karupattu Village having a residential land measuring 4320 sqft. comprised in S.Nos.311/14 and his family has been using a public pathway measuring about 200 soft for several decades which had been encroached by the third respondent and the representation dated 15.11.2016 sent by the petitioner in this regard was closed by the authorities contending the area under alleged encroachment is a temple land and on collecting information from the revenue records that it is not a temple land and it belongs to some third parties, the petitioner had submitted a fresh representation dated 10.3.2017, but, since no action has been taken on his fresh representation, the present writ petition has been filed.
4.
