Petitioner had applied for appointment to the post of Constable (Female) and had appeared in the examination held on 18.6.2018. According to petitioner, the questions were correct from serial nos.1 to 35 upto page 8, whereafter question no.124 surfaced, and the questions from serial nos.36 to 123 were missing. Prayer is therefore made to direct the authorities to conduct a fresh examination, otherwise petitioner would suffer irreparable injury.
While entertaining the writ petition, time was allowed to learned Standing Counsel to obtain instructions. According to instructions, the department has already referred the matter to the agency to which work was outsourced, and depending upon the comments of agency and required enquiry, an appropriate decision in accordance with law would be taken by the concerned respondent.
In the facts and circumstances, this writ petition therefore stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.2 to examine grievance of the petitioner, noticed above, and pass a specific order, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order. If it is found that petitioner's grievance is correct, the authority concerned shall take appropriate steps and allow the petitioner to appear in the fresh examination.
