The petitioner claims that she was awarded 68 marks out of 75 in Chemistry (Practical) III year examination 2017 of Bachelor of Science course by Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. Later on, another marks sheet was issued, in which she is shown to have obtained 50 marks out of 75 in Chemistry (Practical). The case of the petitioner is that on basis of marks sheet initially issued, she also succeeded in getting admission in D.El.Ed. course. She has already made a representation to the University to explain how her marks had been reduced and to carry out necessary corrections. Since, no decision has been taken by the University so far, therefore, the instant writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus commanding the respondent No. 3 to issue a fresh marks sheet to her showing the marks initially awarded to her in Chemistry (Practical) examination.
Learned counsel for the respondent University very fairly states that the Examination Controller of the University (respondent No. 3) would examine the grievance of the petitioner within such time, as may be directed by this Court.
Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the third respondent to pass a speaking order on the representation of the petitioner dated 15.1.2018, within a period of four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order along with photo stat copy of the representation.
