Following orders were passed in the matter on 17.9.2019:-
"It is stated that though petitioner has scored marks above the cut of in the Scheduled Caste category but her claim has been ignored without specifying any specific reasons in respect thereof.
Learned Standing Counsel may obtain instructions in the matter. Post as fresh on 27.9.2019."
Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions, copy of which has been furnished to the Senior Counsel for the petitioner. As per the respondents, petitioner has actually scored 387.30 marks, which is below the cut off of 393.73. The basis of calculating petitioner's marks have also been disclosed and no illegality or perversity is shown therein.
In view of the fact that petitioner has not been able to secure marks above the cut off in the respective category, she can have no grievance, if she has not been selected.
Writ petition, accordingly, is dismissed.
