Following orders were passed in the matter on 18.9.2019:-
"It is alleged that petitioner scored marks above the cut-off in the OBC category, yet she has not been selected. An OBC Certificate, dated 10th February, 2016 has been brought on record before the Court, which is taken on record.
Learned Standing Counsel may obtain instructions in the matter. Post as fresh on 30.9.2019."
Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions from the Police Recruitment Board, which is taken on record. It is pointed out on behalf of respondents that petitioner has scored 386.33 marks, which is below the cut off marks in petitioner's category of 410.10 marks. The details of the marks scored on different heads has been specified in para 5 of the instructions. Copy of the instructions has been furnished to the counsel for the petitioner.
In view of the fact that petitioner has scored marks below the cut off, she can have no grievance.
Writ petition, accordingly, is dismissed.
