Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Petitioner applied for the post of Constable (Female) in Railway Protection Force Zonal Examination, 2018. By the instant writ petition, petitioner seeks the following relief:
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2, to allow the petitioner for Physical Efficiency Test which has been held on 7.4.2019, and which has missed by the petitioner due to illness and further direct to issue her fresh admit card for Physical Efficiency Test."
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the second respondent shall consider and decide the claim of the petitioner expeditiously.
In regard thereto, without entering into the merit of the case, as well as, rival contentions raised by the respective parties, it is provided that the competent authority/second respondent, Chairman, Central Recruitment Committee, Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force, Zonal Group-B, New Delhi, shall consider and decide the claim/representation of the petitioner, by a reasoned and speaking order, expeditiously, preferably, within six weeks from the date of filing of certified copy of this order along with the copy of the writ petition.
With the aforementioned observations/directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
