Petitioner's claim for grant of relaxation in filing the application for grant of compassionate appointment within 5 years appears to have been forwarded to the State Government by the Director concerned.Grievance is that the petitioner's application has remained pending since 3.11.2016.
Petitioner's claim that he was minor at the time of death of the deceased employee and has applied immediately after attaining majority would be an aspect to be examined by the State Government while considering petitioner's application for condoning delay.
In that view of the matter this petition stands disposed of with a direction upon respondent no. 1 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim of relaxation in filing application for grant of compassionate appointment within 5 years, within a period of three months from the date of presentation of copy of this order. The authority concerned shall pass consequential order, within a further period of three weeks, thereafter .
