The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to dispose the Statutory Revision petition filed by the petitioner under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act,1983, on 01.08.2017.

The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner made a submission that the writ petitioner was holding the post of Secretary in E.2189 Vadapuram Keezhpathi Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society, Singirikudi Post 605 007, Cuddalore. On account of several allegations against the writ petitioner, disciplinary proceedings were initiated by the Co-operative Society. Finally, the writ petitioner was terminated from service in proceedings dated 15.05.2017. Challenging the order of termination, the writ petitioner preferred a revision petition before the respondent under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act,1983, on 01.08.2017.
3.Thus, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the revision petition submitted by the writ petitioner dated 01.08.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
