The petitioners have submitted an application for correction of date of birth of their daughter. As per the judgment in W.P.(C) No.27441 of2014, I had directed the petitioners to submit a fresh application in accordance with the stipulations contained in rule 11 of the Kerala Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 1999. Accordingly, the petitioners have submitted an application. Sri.George Sebastian, who appears for the respondent submits that, the application has been received only on 18.11.2014. He assures that the same would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed thereon without delay. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the application submitted by the petitioners, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three weeks from today.
