JUDGMENT / ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the learned III-Additional Sub Court, (Usilampatti Camp), Madurai, to dispose the case in S.C.No.286 of 2015, within a time frame.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner represents that the there are totally 11 accused in Crime No.13 of 2014 and the present petitioner is ranked as 7th accused. All the accused have been charged for the offences under Sections 147,148,188,294(b),353 of IPC read with Section 3 of TNPPDL Act. He further represents that the case has been taken on file by the Court of Sessions and now the case is pending before the learned III- Additional Sub Court, (Usilampatti Camp Court), Madurai as S.C.No.286 of 2015 and since there is no progress so far, the petitioner has come forward with this petition.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that already charges have been framed and the case is now posted for examination of witnesses on 02.02.2017.
5. Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) and also considering the fact that the date of occurrence is 15.01.2014 and also the case is at the stage of trial, this Court issues the following direction:-
?The learned III-Additional Sub Judge (Usilampatti Camp), Madurai, is directed to dispose of the case in S.C.No.286 of 2015, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order?.
6. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
