----------------------- The petitioner is a Labour Co-operative Society. The petitioner has approached this Court on account of the fact that the respondents failed to invite tender for manual drudging at Azheekkal Port. The petitioner submits that they have 151 A class members and 101 C class members, who are conventionally engaged in sand mining. The petitioner seeks direction to the respondents to call for fresh tenders for manual drudging in the Azheekkal Port.
2. The learned Government Pleader on instructions would submit that the tender process is in final stage and necessary proposal has been forwarded to the Government and there are some changes in the condition for the tender.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to invite fresh tenders for manual drudging in the Azheekkal Port before 31.12.2014.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
