JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioner is aggrieved with the non-consideration of Ext.P2 application for temporary permit. Petitioner projects a need for service on the basis of the application made for a regular permit in the route in which now temporary permit is sought. Petitioner's application for temporary permit has not been considered only for the reason that the regular permit application has not been considered. 2. In such circumstance, the second respondent shall consider Ext.P2 application for temporary permit, looking at the need for such a service as also looking into any objection by rival operators, which objection can only be with respect to timing; after giving public notice in the notice board. The said application shall be considered, within a period of three weeks from today and if there is no other legal impediment, the same shall be issued, expeditiously.
The Writ petition is disposed of as above.
