JUDGMENT / ORDER

By consent of both sides, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is doing agricultural activities and insured his crops with the Insurance Company and he has also paid necessary premium periodically. Since due to rainfall, the agricultural activities are severely affected, the petitioner approached the 4th respondent to pay the compensation pursuant to his insurances. However, the same has not been paid. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representations on 12.08.2017, 14.08.2017 and 16.08.2017 to the respondents. Since the said representations have not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition and hence a direction may be issued, it is contended.
4.Without going into the merits of the matter, the 4th respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
