Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Court below to expedite the proceeding in Case No. 50 of 2006-07, Under Section 229B U.P.Z.A. L.R. Act Mauja Dandiyapur, Tehsil Jhansi, District Jhansi pending before Sub Divisional Magistrate, Jhansi since long time in the interest of justice otherwise, the petitioner shall suffer irreparable loss and injury."
The petitioner is aggrieved by the pendency of his declaratory suit under Section 229B of the U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act filed in the year 2006-07. It is stated that the suit is pending at the stage of the petitioner-plaintiff's evidence.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 3 to decide the suit as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
