Sri Vivek Verma, learned counsel appearing for the opposite parties has received instructions from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, vide communication dated 28 October 2018, which is taken on record.
Heard Sri Anurag Khanna, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the applicants and Sri Vivek Verma, learned counsel for the opposite party.
The instant petition has been filed for non-compliance of the order dated 12 July 2018 passed in Writ Petition No. 16005 of 2018.
Learned Senior Counsel informs that the Special Leave to Appeal (C) No. 26615 of 2018 (Medical Council of India vs. Pooja Bhatt and others) filed by the Medical Council of India assailing the order of the writ Court has been dismissed by the Surpeme Court vide order dated 22 October 2018.
Sri Vivek Verma, learned counsel for the opposite parties submits that in compliance of the writ Court order applicants and other similarly situated candidates covered by the order of the writ court shall be permitted to appear and take the examination commencing from 31 October 2018.
The undertaking is recorded and accepted.
In view thereof, the contempt petition is consigned to record.
