The grievance of the petitioners is that earlier Sale Deeds were registered on 05.02.2014 bearing Document Nos. 172 of 2014, 173 of 2014 and 175 of 2014 respectively. There were some typographical mistakes in the description of the properties of the petitioners and, therefore, the petitioners presented Deeds of Rectification before the Sub-Registrar, Salur, Vizianagaram District (3rd respondent), but the Sub-Registrar refused to receive the Deeds of Rectification.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that this is not valid on the part of the Sub-Registrar to refuse to receive the documents presented before him at the threshold. However, no proof is filed to show that the documents were presented before the Sub-Registrar and the same were refused.
3. Having regard to the same, the Writ Petitions are disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to present the documents before the Sub-Registrar, Salur, Vizianagaram District (3rd respondent) and as and when such documents are presented, he shall receive and process the same in accordance with the Registration Act, 1908, and the Indian Stamp Act, 1899. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
