Heard Sri Praveen Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned AGA for the State.
The petitioner has straightway preferred this petition challenging the order of externment. The order of externment is itself based on three cases registered against him under the provisions of U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955. There is no good ground to entertain this writ petition in the face of statutory / alternative remedy of an appeal.
The writ petition is dismissed but with an observation that in the event any appeal is filed before the appellate authority within three weeks from today, the same shall be entertained without raising any plea of limitation and thereafter be heard and disposed of in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
In view of the above observations, the writ petition is dismissed.
