Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Kapil Dev Singh Rathore, learned counsel appearing for the Electricity Corporation.
This petitioner under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for a direction to the court below for speedy trial of the Case No.- 240/2017 (Khemkaranlal Vs Upkhand Adhikari, Pilibhit) pending in the Court of learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Pilibhit.
A perusal of the plaint that is enclosed as Annexure No. 1 reveals that a permanent injunction has been sought for direction to the authorities of the Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Pilibhit for not dis-connecting the electricity supplied through the meters specified.
A perusal of the record indicates that the suit was filed in the year 2017 for injunction.
Given the facts and circumstances, we are not inclined to issue any direction for expeditious disposal of the case.
This petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
