Heard Shri Ulajhan Singh Bind, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State - respondent.
The petitioner seeks electricity connection, in respect of which she has already filed an application before the Competent Authority on 16.03.2020, on which, no action has been taken till date.
Learned Standing Counsel has very fairly stated that in the event any such application is filed, the Competent Authority shall proceed to deal with same in accordance with law, expeditiously.
This writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Competent Authority to decide the petitioner's pending application dated 16.03.2020, or a fresh application, as the case may be, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a month from the date of production of copy of this order, in accordance with law.
