Khaleeli Centre Association vs Mr.S.Murugaiah

Madras High Court|05 October, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Prima facie, the contempt petition does not disclose any act of contempt, in as much as, contempt is wilful and deliberate disregard of an order of the Court to lower the dignity and majesty of the Court. There is only an observation in the order, violation whereof has been alleged, that the petitioner is entitled to one bunk shop. There is no specific direction for removal of the other bunk shops. The petitioner has been given liberty to approach the Town Vending committee for redressal of their grievance.
2. The contempt proceedings are closed. However, this order will not prevent the petitioner from bringing out an appropriate petition/writ petition, if so advised.
