2. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition was that the respondent No.2-Joint Collector is not taking up and disposing of the restoration petition filed in revision No.F3/76/ROR/2008, dated 02.05.2013, which was dismissed in default.
3. On the last date of hearing, learned government pleader, on instructions, submitted that respondent No.2 has fixed the said restoration petition for hearing. It is now represented that under the endorsement of respondent No.2 dated 16.07.2014, the restoration petition has since been dismissed.
4. In view of that, therefore, the present writ petition has become infructuous.
Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Petitioner, however, is at liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law if so advised. Miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
