This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.179 of 2012 , within a time limit that may be prescribed by this Court.
2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent submitted that on the basis of the petitioner's complaint, an F.I.R. has already been registered in Crime No.179 of 2012, for the offences under
Sections 147,447,427,379(NH) and
506(i) of IPC, on the file of the respondent police and after conducting enquiry, the same has been closed as mistake of fact.
3.Recording the abovesaid submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law before the lower Court as against the closure report.
