The first petitioner is an association of stage carriage operators and the second petitioner is a member of the first petitioner association. It is stated that about hundred stage carriages are operating in the sector Alathur-Palakkad and passing time at Alathur is not specifically mentioned in the time sheet issued to most of the said operators. It is stated that in order to rectify the said anomaly, Ext.P5 timing conference is scheduled by the first respondent. On receipt of notice, the petitioners preferred a detailed objection before the first respondent. Ext.P6 is the objection preferred by the petitioners in this W.P.(C) No.12752 of 2017 -2- connection. The limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, when this matter was taken up for admission, is for a direction to the first respondent to take into account the contentions raised by them in Ext.P6 objection also while taking a decision pursuant to Ext.P5 notice.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as also the learned Government Pleader.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to take into account the contentions raised by the petitioners in Ext.P6 objection also, while taking a decision pursuant to Ext.P5 notice.
