JUDGMENT / ORDER

The writ petition is filed with the following reliefs:
i) To issue a writ of mandamus and command the respondent to set apart the amounts due to the petitioner from the retrial benefits of the employees who are taking voluntary retirement and deposit in a separate Nationalised Bank account.
ii) To direct the respondents to consider the request made by the petitioner by taking into account Ext.P1 list and any further subsequent list furnished by the petitioner.
Considering the pendency of the writ petition for more than ten years, I am of the view that the matter has become W.P.(C) No.10472 of 2004 2 infructuous. However, the issues involved in the writ petition are left open. If the petitioner has any further grievance in this matter, they are at liberty to approach this Court again.
Accordingly, the writ petition is closed as infructuous.
