THIS WRIT PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R The petitioner herein is seeking direction to 3rd respondent-Deputy Commissioner to dispose of the proceedings in No.RP.126/2014 pending with him, which is with reference to land bearing Sy.No.209 measuring 1 acre 20 guntas of Bheemanakuppe Village, Kengeri Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk.
2. Memo is filed by the learned AGA along with communication dated 20.08.2018 received by him from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Bangalore Urban District, wherein it is conveyed by Deputy Commissioner that the proceedings No.RP.126/2014 would be disposed of by him within a period of six months from 20.08.2018.
3. The said memo and along with letter of Deputy Commissioner is taken on record. Accordingly, Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner to decide No.RP.126/2014 on merits with in the time limit mentioned in his letter.
4. It is made clear that if the Deputy Commissioner does not comply his undertaking made by him in his letter dated 20.08.2018, it is open to the petitioners to approach the Contempt Court for not complying his undertaking.
With such liberty, the petition is disposed of.
The learned AGA is permitted to file Memo of Appearance within two weeks.
