The writ petition is filed challenging the proceedings in Lr.No.SE/O/ GNT/SAO/JAO-HT/A1/D.No.327/14, dated 11-07-
2014 issued by the 2nd respondent asking the petitioner to pay reactive energy charges for an amount of Rs.3,00,59,160/- within 30 days from the date of receipt of the letter failing which the wheeling arrangement of your energy to the scheduled consumers will be slapped from July, 2014 billing month onwards without further notice, on the ground that the petitioner has already filed O.P.No.50 of 2013 on the file of Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission and the same is pending.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri P. Vinod Kumar, learned standing counsel for the respondents, submits that the impugned proceedings dated 11-07-2014 were kept in abeyance by the respondents in view of the fact that the petitioner filed O.P.No.50 of 2013 against the same, and hence, the cause in the writ petition does not survive and has become infructuous.
Recording the submission made by the learned standing counsel, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
