The petitioner, who is the owner of a cinema theatre, approached this Court seeking to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to seal the tickets of the petitioner's theatre at the rate specified by the petitioner and to fix the the rate of admission to a cinema theatre rests solely at the discretion of the theatre owners concerned.

2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has become infructuous.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
