The learned counsel for the respondent has handed over to me a copy of a communication dated 16.06.2014 addressed to the petitioner informing him that, in compliance with the direction issued by this Court action had been taken and the branches of the tree overhanging his well and contaminating the water had been cut and removed. This is recorded.

In view of the above, this contempt case is closed.
