Petitioner approached the Geologist for renewal of dealers license. This was rejected stating that the petitioner shall produce fresh NOC from the District Collector as well as the District Police Chief. As per Ext.P1, petitioner was allowed to stock 1127Metric tone during the year. This was valid upto 30.09.2014. Therefore, petitioner can be permitted to stock the above quantity mentioned in Ext.P1 without production of further NOC or verification from the District Police Chief.
2. In view of the above, Ext.P4 is set aside. However, it is made clear that the petitioner shall be permitted to stock the quantity mentioned in Ext.P1 during the year. Needful shall be done within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
