The petitioners, who apprehends arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 324 IPC and 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) SC/ST (POA) Amendment Act 2015 have filed the present petition seeking for the above relief.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge (PCR), Nagapattinam is directed to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider the bail applications of the petitioners in Crime No.218 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Sembanarkoil Police Station, Nagapattinam, on the very same day purely on the basis of merits and pass suitable orders, in the event of the petitioners surrendering before the said court within 15 days from today and filing of petition seeking bail.
5. This petition is ordered accordingly.
