Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4 and learned counsel for the 5th respondent.
2. This writ petition was filed challenging the action of the respondents in initiating action at the behest of the 5th respondent in relation to the business activities of the petitioner, including issuance of proceedings dated 14.07.2010, 20.07.2010 and 22.07.2010 by the first respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that though the writ petition was filed challenging various proceedings issued by the first respondent, no adjudication is necessary in respect of those proceedings in view of the developments that have taken place subsequent to the filing of the writ petition. The compensation was paid to the farmers who are affected and the investigation was also completed in criminal cases. In view of this, the petitioner does not want to continue the challenge made to the proceedings of the first respondent.
4. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence. No costs.
