Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and perused the record.
Present petition has been filed for directing the respondent no. 2 to decide the application of Arms License of the petitioner dated 10.09.2020 expeditiously within time which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit.
The case of the petitioner is that he had applied for grant of an arms licence on 10.09.2020 but no order has been passed and the said application is still pending with the District Magistrate/ Licensing Authority, Fatehpur.
Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with the direction that the application of the petitioner dated 10.09.2020 shall be considered and decided by the respondent no. 2, District Magistrate, District- Fatehpur, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of self- attested copy of this order, which may be verified from the official website of this Court.
With the aforesaid observation/ direction, present petition stands disposed of.
