The allegations in the first information report regarding house grabbing and assault by the petitioners upon the complainant / the respondent no. 4 are clear and categorical.
The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners that the first information report had been lodged in retaliation to the report lodged by the petitioners herein regarding assault on the petitioners during the course of visit to the house of the complainant, is not worthy of consideration, inasmuch as, it is not possible for the Court to ascertain the truth of the allegations in the first information report.
In view of the categorical assertions of commission of the alleged offence by the petitioners, we do not find it a fit case for interference. Any interference at this stage may impede the speedy investigation.
The writ petition is, thus, found devoid of merit and hence, dismissed.
