Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following among other relief:-
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/ directing the respondent No. 2 to decide pending proceedings of mutation of case No. 00459/2018, computerized Case NO. T201815510300459 (Kaushalaya Devi versus Anupam Kumar and others) under section 35 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 within stipulate period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
The petitioner is aggrieved on account of pendency of a mutation application filed in July, 2018 which has not been decided till date.
In view of the above, without entering into the merits of the controversy between the parties, I dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no. 2, Tehsildar, Madhuban, Mau to consider and decide the mutation application expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
