This habeas corpus writ petition has been filed for challenging the order dated 27.07.2018 passed by District Magistrate, Budaun by which the petitioner has been preventively detained under Section 3(2) of the National Security Act.
As the maximum period of detention under the provisions of National Security Act is one year, this petition has been rendered infructuous and, therefore, no one has appeared for the petitioner.
In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
