This Criminal Petition is filed to quash FIR in Crime No.
113 of 2012 of Gannavaram Police Station, Krishna district, for alleged offences under section 464 read with section 468, 471, 385, 423, 506, read with section 12 and 34 of IPC.
2. Heard both sides.
3. Advocate for petitioners submitted that this matter is purely a civil dispute, converted into a criminal case and that there is no prima facie material attracting the offences.
4. On the other hand, learned Public Prosecutor submitted that matter is still under investigation.
5. Considering the submission of both sides, I feel without going into merits of the case, directing the police to proceed with investigation without arresting the petitioners till completion of investigation, this petition can be disposed of.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the police to expedite investigation and complete it as early as possible and in the meantime not to arrest the petitioners.
7. As a sequel, miscellaneous petition if any, pending shall stand closed.
