JUDGMENT / ORDER

When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, status report was filed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is not agreeing with the reasons stated in the status report. He also submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw this Criminal Original Petition granting liberty to challenge the status report in the manner known to law. An endorsement has also been made to that effect.
3. In view of the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, granting such liberty to the petitioner. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
