Niloufer Akbar, AGA) This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to call for records and allow the instant appeal; direct the respondent No.2 to accept the compliance and regularize the due compliance made by the petitioner association pursuant to the representation dated 11.3.2013 submitted by the petitioner association vide Annexure-A and etc.
This Writ Petition coming on for Preliminary Hearing in B group this day, the Court made the following:
O R D E R In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction to respondent No.2 to accept the compliance and regularize due compliance made by the petitioner- Association pursuant to the representation dated 11.03.2013.
2. The petitioner-Karnataka Athletics Association, was registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1860. The petitioner- Association came into existence for encouragement and partronage of eminent sport personalities and dignitaries, who are patrons of the Association in early 1950s.
3. As per the provisions of Societies Registration Act, 1860, petitioner-Association has submitted Annual Report to respondent No.2 for the years 2002-2003 and 2011-2012. Since respondent No.2 has not taken any action, the petitioner is before this Court. Under these circumstances, it is suffice for this Court to direct respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 11.03.2013, if not already considered, in accordance with law, within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of.
