This Criminal Original petition is filed for quashing the Charge Sheet in P.R.C.No.68 of 2016 pending before the Additional Mahila Court, Madurai.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent and the learned Senior counsel appearing for the second respondent.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the case has been committed to Additional Sessions and Mahila Court, Madurai, in S.C.No.318 of 2017 and that therefore, the petition is not maintainable.
4. Recording the statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the proceedings in S.C.No.318 of 2017 on the file of the Additional Sessions and Mahila Court, Madurai. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed.
