The petitioners herein seek for quashing of the First Information Report dated 25.03.2021 registered as Case Crime No.321 of 2021 under Sections 323, 504, 506, 376, 307, 467, 468, 471 and Section 3/4 of POCSO Act P.S-Vijay Nagar District-Ghaziabad.
The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioners that the First Information Report had been lodged in the incident at an earlier point of time and final report has been submitted by the investigating officer therein, cannot be a reason to quash the First Information Report-in-question, in as much as the allegations therein are serious in nature.
Looking to the seriousness of the allegations in the First Information Report, we do not find a good ground to entertain as any interference at this stage may stall the investigation process.
The writ petition is found devoid of merit and hence dismissed.
