For R1 and R2 ORDER (Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM,J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to trace out and produce the detenue, viz., (i) Jeya, wife of the petitioner, (ii) Lathika, aged 9 years and (iii) Jonawa Sri, aged 7 years, minor daughters of the petitioner.
2. The petitioner is not present; whereas, his counsel is present.
3. The second respondent, viz., the Inspector of police, SRMC Police Station, Porur, Chennai, has produced the detenue.
4. Since the petitioner is not present, identification cannot be made. Under such circumstances, this petition is liable to be dismissed.
In fine this habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
