This application U/s 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed to quash the proceedings in Criminal Case No. 6704 of 2003 (State vs. Kanhaiya Lal) pending in the Court of Judicial Magistrate, Azamgarh on the basis of charge sheet dated 22.8.2000 in Case Crime No. 195/2000, under Section 498-A I.P.C. and 3/4 D.P. Act, P.S. Deedarganj, District Azamgarh.
Record shows that this matter is pending since 2008 on account of interim order dated 19.9.2008 passed by this Court whereby the proceedings of the lower Court has also been stayed.
Application is dismissed for want of prosecution. Interim order stands vacated.
